Is it true that the Biostrap one of the best fitness trackers ever? There are a few things that really increase its competitive edge. Apart from providing accurate results, it also features wireless charging, a long battery life, in-depth data and analysis. As opposed to some fitness trackers that boast awesome displays, this has none at all. For some, it’s a deal breaker. But if you need more than just a pretty display, the Biostrap is still good to consider because it’s packed with features.

Design

Unlike the rest, the Biostrap comes in two separate wearables instead of a single one. One looks like a fitness band, while the other resembles a GPS tracker with its rectangular shape. The company believes that it’s hard to track movements using a single device because they are too complex. For this reason, it uses two separate devices to measure performance more precisely. As you can see, the one that looks like a band is put on the wrist, while the other one clips onto either shoe. They also serve different purposes. The band is the one with a heart rate sensor, so you can measure the current heart rate. Meanwhile, the one attached to the shoe has the ability to analyze movements. It can collect various information, such as reps, consistency, etc.

Feature

As a fitness tracker, the Biostrap doesn’t lack any fitness-oriented features. You can use it to track different activities, like walking, running, and swimming. It will also work for those who like to bike and exercise with the stair master. Additionally, the device provides an option to create a library of custom workouts. Anytime you do a repetitive workout, the tracker will save it. When it comes to battery life, the Biostrap is pretty good, too. Sure, there are others that can go on for several weeks on a single charge, but some are still no match the Biostrap performance-wise.

This fitness band lasts 5 days on average. That was the estimate for the wrist wearable. As for the one attached to the shoe, it can last up to 8 days. For those who don’t exercise every day, these figures are acceptable. It’s not like you have to charge anytime before starting a workout routine. Besides, the band is 5 ATM waterproof, which means it can be used in wet environments. The shoepod can resist water as well, but not as advanced as the wrist wear. It’s only considered splash proof. Another good thing about the pair is both of them are charged wirelessly.

Biostrap app

To make the most of the Biostrap fitness tracker, you can download the app from the App store. The Android version is still under testing process. If you want to be the first to know the launch, just sign up on their site. They will send you a notification once the app is available on the Play Store. The features aren’t particularly groundbreaking because they can also be found on other fitness apps. However, we still love the straightforward user interface. The data collected during workouts can be displayed here. The dashboard is intuitive and displays information regarding your fitness level. It also lets you track your heart rate all day long.
